Past Event Tannum Sands Fishing Comp with Boyne Tannum Hookup Where :- Tannum Sands Caravan Park - Tent camping When :- 4th -11th June, 2012 Hookup runs 8th -10th June. Entries close June 1st 5pm. Prizes for offshore and estuary seperate to main Hook Up comp. Past Event 2012 Mackeral Comp. Where :- Offshore Mooloolaba When :- 13 - 15 April, 2012 Prizes donated by Tropical Iceboxes Result : Long hours spent trolling but no Mackeral caught. Prizes awarded for estuary/offshore/attendence. Thanks to Tropical Iceboxes for the superb prizes appreciated by winners.

Where :- Boondooma Dam, near Proston
When :- 11 - 12 February, 2012

The event is organised by Boondooma Dam Fish Stocking Association in conjunction with a host of sponsors.

Camping Works sponsored prizes for club members and four members went home with a fine folding camp chair.

Club Awards

Club Champion	Highest number of points gained in the Club Champion Competition.
	The Competition is run for the whole club year (July to June),and can be fished any day.
	Fish can be weighed on private scales and details must be entered on a capture sheet.
	Points will be awarded for captures in the following three sections :-
	Freshwater, Estuary and Blue Water, with two species in each section
	The six species are Australian Bass, Golden Perch, Flathead, Bream, Tuna, Mackerel.
	Any ANSA line class can be fished to gain points
	A bonus 200 points will be awarded to any member who catches all six nominated species.
Angler of the Year	Highest number of points gained during the year for fish caught in Australian waters
Top Ten Male	Highest number of points gained from ten individual species. Must have ten species to be eligible.
Top Ten Female	Highest number of points gained from ten individual species. Must have ten species to be eligible.
Best Estuary Capture	Highest points scoring capture for any "Estuary" species.
Best Blue Water Capture	Highest points scoring capture for any "Blue Water" species.
Best Freshwater Capture	Highest points scoring capture for any "Freshwater" species.
Best Fly Capture	Highest number of points gained for any species captured on fly.
President's Trophy	Awarded by President
Most Improved Angler	Chosen by the awards committee.
Most Meritorious Capture	Chosen by the awards committee
Snapper Award	The heaviest snapper caught using all tackle.
Mackerel Award	The heaviest mackerel (any species) caught using all tackle.
Reef Fish Award	The heaviest Tusk -fish (Parrot fish) caught using all tackle.
Junior Champion	Highest number of points gained during the year for fish caught in Australian waters
